Chi, Dah-Chin (Daniel) Short Biography
Daniel Chi is the founder and President of Chi Financial Group (CFG), an Austin based financial services company specializing in advising privately held companies and high net worth families in the areas of asset accumulation,conservation, and distribution. Chi Financial Group also provides design, implementation, and funding of executive benefits and retentions plans for commercial banks, and small to medium size companies.
Daniel's main role at CFG is to position the company for future growth and gain market shares. In this capacity hehas partnered with several prestigious companies in the fields of law, accounting, banking, and insurance. He is also involved in a team of financial professionals that market expertise in Non-Qualified Plan design and funding strategies with Corporate Owned and Bank Owned Life Insurance products (COLI & BOLI).
Daniel has lived in Austin for 11 years. Born and raised in Taiwan, Daniel moved to Argentina with his family at the age of 11. After 4 years in Buenos Aires, Daniel moved to Texas and lived in Houston. He moved to Austin to attend the University of Texas where he received his bachelor's degree in Economics.
